The Central Bank's issue of Rs.21 billion Treasury Bills at the weekly auction on Wednesday for the week ending 22 February, 2013 was oversubscribed with rates remaining unchanged from the last week. At the weekly primary auction, the re-issue of Rs.21 billion maturing Treasury bills was oversubscribed with bids amounting Rs. 34.314 billion being received, the Central Bank said. The Bank has decided to accept Rs. 14.98 billion from the auction.
The one-year Treasury bill rate remained at 11.10% this week. The Bank has accepted Rs. 12.919 billion on one-year T-bills.
Six month tenor bills rate was stable at 10.08% and the three month tenor bills rate remained at 9.10%.
The Bank accepted Rs. 1.135 billion in 6-month and Rs. 926 million in 3-month bills.
