SriLankan Cargo carries first shipment from MRIA to Chennai

 
Commencing cargo operations from the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA), SriLankan Airlines’ cargo operations’ took over the first shipment to Chennai.

A discount of 10 per cent on the current freight rates is applicable for shipments operating in and out of the MRIA.

In a bid to assist the exports sector, a special introductory rate of USD 0.30 cents per kilo is also applicable for shipments between Colombo and Mattala.
