Sri Lanka, India navies discuss maritime issues at IMBL meeting |

Sri Lanka and India held the 22nd International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) meeting earlier this week in Kankasanthurai to discuss maritime issues common to both countries.
The Navy officials of the two countries have discussed several issues of bilateral importance focusing special attention on the fishing activities across Palk Strait, Gulf of Mannar and Eastern sea areas. The two navies have also discussed drug trafficking across IMBL.
The INBL meeting held biannually to strengthen the naval relationships between Sri Lanka and India.
