SL – China to promote trade, tourism & investment

 
5th Joint Committee meeting on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Sri Lanka and China was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 24th April 2013.

The two parties conducted fruitful discussions on the promotion of trade, tourism and investment between the two counties.

An agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation for USD 16 million and a Loan Agreement on Provision of Concessional Loan of USD 147 million by China to Sri Lanka for Hambantota Port Development Phase I Project for Ancillary Works and Supply of Equipment were signed between the two countries.
