Sri Lanka to host UN-based WSA Global Congress 2013


The WSA Global Congress 2013 will be held in Colombo from October 23 to 26, 2013. Hosted by the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA), the global event will be a fast-paced three-day conference featuring 40 outstanding application developers, more than 60 high-profile speakers and attracting up to 1,000 international delegates.

World’s best e-Content developers, government representatives and leading ICT experts to converge in Colombo for three-day congress.

The conference’s objective is to present the most creative mobile and web applications from all over the world and to discuss the crucial role of e-Content for the global economy, environment, government, healthcare, education and mobility.

“WSA Global Congress 2013 will bring together the world’s best developers, world-class keynote speakers and leaders of government, industry, academia, and civil society for broad discussions on how quality e-Content shapes today’s digital society,” said Peter A. Bruck, Chairman of the UN-based World Summit Award (WSA) initiative.
