President Mahinda Rajapaksa hosted an Iftar dinner for diplomats of Islamic countries in Sri Lanka Wednesday (August 07) evening at the President's House.
The guests included Ambassadors and High commissioners of Islamic countries along with their family members. The President joined the families for Iftar, the breaking of fast during Ramadan.
Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peiris, Deputy Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera and Secretary to the Ministry of External Affairs Karunatilaka Amunugama joined the Iftar dinner while Monitoring MP for the Ministry of External Affairs Sajin de Vass Gunawardena and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa were also present to greet the guests.
