Colombo to host Insurance Congress of developing countries in September


The Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL) recently announced its hosting of the 17th AIRDC Insurance Congress of Developing Countries conference for the first time in Sri Lanka, which will see 400 delegates representing insurers and reinsurers from 18 countries present to deliberate on and share their individual industry experiences from their respective regions.

The Congress will be held in Colombo from 29 September to 2 October, with a host of guest speakers lined up to discuss industry challenges under the theme, "Enhancing Insurance Penetration in Emerging Economies".

The Congress is expected to provide a platform for all participants to enhance their knowledge of the current and future trends of the insurance industry and serve as a platform for high level discussions and networking among industry colleagues.
