Negotiations between Sri Lanka & Belarus on Avoidance of Double Taxation ended successfully


Negotiations between Sri Lanka and Belarus on Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income ended successfully recently, says the Ministry of Finance and Planning.

The negotiations were held at the Ministry of Taxes and Duties in Minsk, Belarus from 5th to 9th August 2013.The Sri Lankan delegation was headed by Mr. H.B.A. Senevirathne, Senior Deputy Commissioner General of the Inland Revenue Department and the Belarusian delegation was headed by Ms. Ella Selitskaya, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, Belarus.

Representatives from both the Ministry of Finance and Planning and Inland Revenue Department of Sri Lanka and Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus also participated in the negotiations, the Ministry added.
