Swaziland Prime Minister paid a courtesy call on President


Dr. Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini, Prime Minister of Swaziland who is currently in Colombo to attend the 2013 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting paid a courtesy call on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Water’s Edge this afternoon.

During the brief discussion with the President, Swaziland Prime Minister Dlamini regretted inability of King of Swaziland to attend the Meeting in Colombo. When he exprressed his country’s desire to improve bilateral cooperation with Sri Lanka , President Rajapaksa invited him to send a team of officials to explore the possibilities and avenues to expand.

Prof. G. L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs, Sajin de Vaas Gunwardena, Monitoring MP to the Ministry of External Affairs, Secretary to the President, Lalith Weeratunga, Karunatilleke Amunugama, Secretary to the Ministry of External Affairs, and Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in Asutralia were also present at the discussion.
