Sri Lanka has climbed the Kuoni list as the 3rd best selling travel destination for 2014.
KUONI TRAVEL LTD is one of the largest travel companies in Switzerland, and also one of the leading travel organisations in the world. It calls itself UK’s most successful specialist tour operator.

Sri Lanka has a little bit of everything: laid-back golden beaches, surf breaks, dazzling wildlife, piquant cuisine, tea plantations, Buddhist temples, ancient citadels, graceful colonial architecture and a vibrant capital. And it’s possible to experience most of that on a two-week holiday,” states the Kuoni.
Statistics released by Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) recently showed that Sri Lanka had met its tourist arrival target of 1.2 million for the year 2013.
The Authority has validated the tourist arrival figures for each month of last year and according to validated data 1,274,593 tourists have arrived in the island during 2013.
The UK is Sri Lanka’s major source market from Europe.
