We should think not only about today, but also about tomorrow. We should build up a future generation that could win the world, said the President after the opening ceremony of Mahindodaya Science Laboratory at the Madirigiriya National School yesterday (June 10).

It is my desire to provide education facilities that is available to the students in the schools in towns also to the children of the villages, the President said. He pointed that the Madirigiriya School now has a special facility, the technology science that is not even available in popular schools such as Royal College and Vishaka Vidyalaya in Colombo.

The President said that although leveling accusations and slander was an art for some people, the Government has rejected them. The Government which is overcoming problems and facing challenges and going forward from strength to strength, cannot be weakened by accusations and slanderous attacks, the President further stated.
