Dialogue between Xinhua & Sri Lankan Media


The Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, under its mandate to promote communication and understanding between countries and communities, is organizing a "Dialogue between Xinhua News Agency and the Sri Lankan Media" in collaboration with Xinhua News Agency, Colombo Bureau.

The dialogue will be held on the 02nd of July at 3.00pm. at the Kadirgamar Institute with the participation of the Visiting Delegates from the Asia-Pacific Division of the Xinhua News Agency.

The Xinhua News Agency, which is the national news agency of China, has bureaus in about 180 countries around the world including in Colombo. The Colombo Bureau has been in operations for many years, working to promote relations and understanding between our two countries.

Five top officials of the Xinhua News Agency including the General Manger of the Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau and the Chief Editor of the Asia Pacific Daily will be visiting Sri Lanka for three days in the first week of July.
