Indian Air Force Chief to meet SL President today


The Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha is scheduled to call on President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (July 18).

The Indian Air Force Air Chief who is in the island on a five-day goodwill visit, arrived the island on last Tuesday. Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke received the Air Chief Marshal upon his arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

During their stay, the Indian Air Chief will visit Sri Lanka Army and Navy Headquarters, the IPKF War Memorial, Battaramulla, Air Force Academy, China Bay in Trincomalee and SLAF Base Katunayake.
