Sri Lanka and Japan sign agreements for cooperation in a number of sectors


Sri Lanka and Japan signed the following agreements to further cooperation between the two nations:

1. Exchange of Notes for Yen Loan for the "Digitalization of Terrestrial Television
Broadcasting Project"

The following were signed yesterday (Sept. 6, 2014):

1. Memorandum of Cooperation on the Vitalization of Intergovernmental Economic Policy Dialogue between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of External Affairs of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

2. Memorandum of Cooperation in Agriculture and Related Fields between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan and the Ministry of Agriculture of Sri Lanka

3. Letter of Intent between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and the Ministry of Technology and Research of Sri Lanka on Cooperation in the Fields of Science, Technology and Innovation
