First free Wi-Fi zone opened today


The first free Wi-Fi zone promised by the Government from its election manifesto opened at the Fort railway station premises this morning (March 30) under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Public are benefited to use free internet facilities at these zones. Such free Wi-Fi zone will be set up at the main CTB bus stand and the private bus stand in Pettah, Colombo Public Library, Race course grounds, Polonnaruwa Railway Station and General Hospital and Galle railway station, Matara bus stand, Jaffna library, Kandy Dalada Maligawa and several other premises in future.
