President Maithripala Sirisena attended Easter Festival held at the Batticaloa Hindu College Grounds today (April 5). While attending the celebration he emphasized that a just society could not be built by hatred.
“War in a country can be prevented by creating a just society by building trust and confidence among various communities”, the President said.
The President pointed out that a religious philosophy plays a major part in creating a disciplined society. He emphasized the Government would build a society where the communities could live in harmony irrespective of their religions and language.
