Special Presidential Task Force for recovery of illegally acquired state assets


The government has established a Special Presidential Task Force for the recovery of illegally acquired state assets.

President Maithripala Sirisena handed overthe appointment letters to the members of the Task Forceat the Presidential Secretariat today (30).

The Task Force comprised of 13members, and they were: Bimba Tillakaratne, H.M.L.T. Mudalige, H. Amarathunga, C.A.H.M. Wijerathna, A.K..D.D. Arandara, L.S. Pathinayake, Dilrukshi Dias Wickramasinghe, Kalyani Dahanayake, Jagath P Wijeweera, D.G.N. Jayawardena, C.A. Premashantha, President's Counsel Yasantha Kodagoda and senior lawyer J.C. Weliamuna.

Secretary to the President Mr. P. B. Abekoon also present at the occasion.
