President visits J.R. Jayewardene Centre

 

President Maithripala Sirisena went on an inspection tour to the J.R. Jayewardene Centre in Colombo.

The J.R. Jayewardene Centre is an institution which comes under the purview of the Presidential Secretariat. The President made this visit in order to obtain first hand information on its present status. The President observed the Museum which contains the goods used by J.R. Jayewardene, the first Executive President of the country. The President also inspected the Library.

The President also did not forget to place his signature in the visitorís book placed at the J.R. Jayewardena Centre.

Among those who accompanied the President was his Secretary P.B. Abeykoon.
