ADB provides rehabilitation assistance to the N-E

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has granted a loan of Rupees 2.5 billion (USD 27.4 million) for the proposed emergency rehabilitation assistance project in the North and East.

The project would be implemented for assistance in shelter, employment, water supply and sanitation, health, education, agriculture and livestock, irrigation, fisheries and roads.

The Government Agents in each district will be the focal points for implementation.
