Sri Lanka – West Indies First Test

The West Indians were 311/3 at stumps on the first day in the First Test with Sri Lanka at the Galle International Stadium today.

The Sri Lankan bowlers toiled unsuccessfully after the Windies won the toss and elected to bat. Brian Lara completed his 16th Test century making good use of a hot day in the southern city of Galle.

The match continues tomorrow.
