Four of Sri Lanka’s leading athletes have been selected to compete in the inaugural Asian Grand Prix series to be worked off in India, Philippines and Thailand. The Asian Association of Athletic Associations (4As) has selected Asian Games gold medallist Sugath Thilakaratne, Asian Championships double gold medallist Rohana Pradeep Kumara, Commonwealth Games silver medallist Sriyani Kulawansa and Asian Games double gold medallist Damayanthi Darsha for the Grand Prix. The Asian Grand Prix will consist of three meets from May 18 to May 26.
