Sri Lanka meet New Zealand today with one victory in the bag

Complementary half-centuries by Skipper Sanath Jayasuriya and Russel Arnold helped the Sri Lankans to a 41-run win over Pakistan in the opening match of the Sharjah Cup yesterday.

Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 242 for 9 in 50 overs. In reply Pakistan could only make 201 in 45.5 overs.

The Second match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand will start at 11 AM GMT Tuesday.
