Thrilling victory for Kiwis at Sharjah

New Zealand recorded an exciting 11-run win over Sri Lanka Tuesday in the second match of the Sharjah Cup 2002.

Chasing a 219-run target Sri Lanka managed to score only 207 runs in their 50 overs.

Muttiah Muralitharan had a haul of five wickets for nine runs.

The third match of the tournament between Pakistan and New Zealand will be on Wednesday.
