The Sri Lanka cricket team led by Sanath Jayasuriya will leave for England on Sunday for a 3-test, 10-week tour. The first test will begin on May 16 at Lord’s. “Muttiah Muralitharan is expected to join the squad in England at a later date,” a press release issued by the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) said. Muttaiah suffered damaged ligaments in his left shoulder while fielding in the Sharjah Cup final on April 17.
